Apple Crisp Recipe

I promise, this will be the last naughty recipe I post for awhile, but I just had to...I've been experimenting with ways to use up this season's apple supply, aside from my favorite applesauce. Here's the most delicious, easy recipe for a small batch of apple crisp taken from Betty Crocker:

5 medium tart cooking apples, sliced (4 cups)
1/2 cup packed brown sugar, but I think less could be used
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup quick-cooking or old-fashioned oats
1/3 cup butter, softened
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Cream or Ice cream, if desired

1. Heat oven to 375ºF.
2. Spread apples in pan. In medium bowl, stir remaining ingredients except cream until well mixed; sprinkle over apples.
3. Bake about 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown and apples are tender when pierced with a fork. Serve warm with cream.

I guess I will have to make this again to take a picture. =)
