Carob Chews: For those hankering for a sweet

Don't underestimate the ability of these treats to sate even the most intense cravings. And feel free to substitute - which is half the fun of cooking!

Carob Chews
1/2 c raw agave nectar
1/2 c carob powder
1/2 c coconut oil in liquid form
(heat gently over low flame if it's cool out)
1/2 c soaked, sprouted, and/or dehydrated nuts
(cashews and almonds are my fave)
sprinkle unsweetened, unsulphured coconut on top, or mix in 1/2 c
1 tsp sea salt

Mix all ingredients together. Put in any type of flat bottomed vessel and let chill for about 1/2 hour. I like to put the treats in a long "to-go" container with a lid, so I don't have to do any transferring once it sets. Viola!
