This weekend in food

I didn't cook much this weekend. I made two poorly timed loaves of sourdough that Mark has been enjoying. (The rising times were all wrong due to being out and about!) I also made chocolate almond biscotti,

a rather nasty looking but incredibly tasty (with recipe soon to be posted!) Walnut Pomegranate Lamb, and eclairs.

  2. Yeah, what kind of flour did you use? Did you grind your own? If so, what kind of berries did you use?

  3. =) It's white whole wheat flour, made from hard white winter wheat berries. But no, it's not freshly ground. My hand crank makes a huge mess so I opted for good ol' King Arthur organic instead. I made these for my nephew's birthday party. They tasted delicious with the white whole wheat - couldn't tell the difference!!
