I've been playing around a bit with cinnamon raisin bread recipes. I know it's not the best food I could be eating, but it's delicious, quick breakfast food, and the house smells great! Here's my latest recipe, to be put into the bread maker in this order:
1 1/8 c water
2 c whole wheat bread flour
1 c whole wheat flour
2 T softened butter
2 t yeast
add 1/2 c - 1 c raisins 10 min before final kneading
Before the bread maker starts to actually cook the bread, take it out, role thinly, brush generously with butter. Add ample cinnamon and sugar, and roll up. Place back in the bread machine to cook.
